WAR VETERANS TURN ON MNANGAGWA AS CIO HUNTS MATHIBELA

Zimbabwe is now facing more political problems. Things are becoming very dangerous. The Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) is now following Andreas Ethan Mathibela. He is the leader of the Zimbabwe National War Veterans Association. The CIO says Mathibela is a “person of security interest.” That means the government is now watching him very closely.
The CIO works under the President’s Office. They told immigration officers at all borders not to allow Mathibela to leave the country. The CIO says Mathibela is a wanted man. This means they may arrest him if he tries to travel. They are now hunting him like a criminal.
Mathibela is now in danger because he spoke out against President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Mathibela said Mnangagwa has failed as a leader. He said the President must resign now. Mathibela did not hide his words. He was bold and open. This made the government angry. Now they want to silence him.
But Mathibela is not alone. Many people in ZANU PF are fighting each other. There is a strong fight between Mnangagwa’s camp and Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga’s camp. Both sides want full control of the party. This fight has divided the ruling party. ZANU PF supporters are now split into two angry groups.
Because of these fights, the political situation is very bad. Another war veteran leader, Blessed Geza, told Zimbabweans to remove Mnangagwa from power on 31 March. He called for people to rise up and protest. This made the situation even more tense. Many people are now scared of what may happen next.
War veterans were once very loyal to ZANU PF. They fought for the country’s freedom. After independence, they stood with the ruling party. But now, they are tired. They say Mnangagwa has ignored the suffering of the people. The economy is bad. There is poverty and no jobs. The war veterans are now speaking out. They are angry.
The way the government is going after Mathibela shows that they are afraid. By saying he is a security risk, they are trying to scare him and others. They do not want anyone to speak against Mnangagwa. They are trying to control what people say. But it is too late. More and more people are now speaking out.
Many Zimbabweans are worried. They are scared of violence. The political fights are making life worse. The country is already suffering. Now this fighting is making it harder. People are tired. They want peace and change.
The war veterans calling for Mnangagwa to go is a big warning. These are the same people who once stood by him. Now they want him to step down. That shows ZANU PF is weak and broken. It also shows that Mnangagwa has lost support. When war veterans turn on you, it means the end is near.
Now the CIO is looking for Mathibela. They want to stop him. But this may only make people more angry. The whole country is watching. So is the rest of the world. Everyone wants to know what will happen next.
Zimbabwe is at a crossroads. One road leads to peace and a better future. The other road leads to more fighting and suffering. The people of Zimbabwe have suffered for too long. They are now hoping for real change. But the government wants to silence them. The next days will show which path the country will take.
