ZIMBABWE IS BLEEDING WHILE ZANU PF FEEDS

Every single day in Zimbabwe, millions of dollars disappear into the pockets of ZANU PF elites. This is not just poor governance or mismanagement. It is organized theft. It is corruption in broad daylight by people who care nothing about the country or its future. They only care about power and money. While they enrich themselves, the rest of us are left in darkness, hunger, and poverty.

A clear example of this is the recent decision to move the Sanganai Hlanganani Tourism Expo from Bulawayo to Mutare. Bulawayo has all the infrastructure. It has hosted the event for years. It is cheaper and more efficient. But that was not enough for the corrupt officials. They saw an opportunity to cash in, to create new tenders and deals, and they grabbed it. Mutare is not ready. It will cost more than double what it used to. What once cost half a million will now cost millions. Not because it helps tourism. Not because it helps the country. But because it helps them. It helps them loot.

This is what corruption looks like in Zimbabwe. It is in every ministry. Health is collapsing because money for equipment and drugs is stolen. Ambulances are bought at inflated prices. Roads are paid for but never built. Laptops for schools are purchased at the cost of vehicles. And those responsible continue to get away with it. No accountability. No consequences. Just more stealing.

The government is no longer a public institution. Under ZANU PF, it has become a business empire for personal gain. Ministers and top officials are now merchants of corruption. They see every policy as a profit opportunity. Every budget is a chance to loot. They fly business class, buy houses abroad, and flaunt their wealth, while teachers can’t afford transport and hospitals have no medicine. This is a betrayal of the people.

This is not just a failure of politics. It is a deliberate destruction of Zimbabwe. Every dollar stolen is a dollar that could have paid a nurse. Every corrupt tender is a missed opportunity to fix a bridge, build a classroom, or install a borehole. They are not just stealing money—they are stealing lives. They are stealing the future.

What is most painful is the shamelessness. They lie to our faces. They pretend to care. They blame sanctions, the opposition, and even the weather. But we know the truth. Sanctions did not move the expo to Mutare. Greed did. Corruption did. ZANU PF did. They are the ones strangling the economy, not the West. They are the ones who made Zimbabwe a place where jobs are scarce, fuel is expensive, and food is a luxury.

We must open our eyes. This country cannot be saved by the same criminals who have looted it for decades. We need change. Real change. Not just new faces in old suits. But a new system built on accountability, honesty, and service to the people. We need leaders who are ready to sacrifice for the country, not sell it.

Every day we remain silent, ZANU PF robs another generation. Every day we accept the lies, we lose more of our dignity and hope. Enough is enough. We must speak up. We must rise. The fight is not just for today—it is for the future of Zimbabwe. The bleeding must stop. And those holding the knife must be removed.
